Our Ambien Detox Protocol
The body can easily become dependent on sleep aids like Ambien® and Lunesta®. Our Ambien® detox protocol includes different Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) therapies to alleviate the harsh withdrawal effects. We can also integrate mental health counseling with these therapies to help manage behaviors if needed.
The Z Drug Class
This class of drugs are called sedative hypnotics. The drugs listed below belong to a class of drugs called Z drugs. These drugs have a similar chemical makeup to the benzodiazepine class of drugs. Sleeping Pill Detoxification
The detoxification process from sleeping pills is similar to the benzodiazepine class of drugs. Many people unwittingly have become dependent on sleep aid medications prescribed by seemingly well intentioned doctors. Sleeping pill dependency can be a harrowing experience and coming off them a difficult ordeal if not managed by experienced medical professionals.
Optional Ongoing Lunesta® and Ambien® Addiction Treatment
If you need additional outpatient treatment after you’ve completed your detox program, we offer additional Lunesta® and Ambien® addiction treatment. You have the option to continue outpatient treatment with our Intensive Outpatient Program, group counseling, or individual therapy. It’s highly recommended by our addiction specialists that anyone struggling with sleep aid dependency receives on-going addiction treatment.
