Program Spotlight: Intensive Outpatient Program

New Beginnings Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) was developed for clients for whom a residential program is not the best choice due to work, school or family responsibilities. Our customized and flexible, yet more intensive treatment program is also a good choice for clients who are in early recovery, since it provides a solid foundation for long-term sobriety.

About Our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program

We understand that our clients have busy schedules and for that reason, we have groups that meet during the day and in the evening, five nights a week. Group therapy is an effective form of therapy for clients in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, since it gives them a sense that they are not alone. Sharing their struggles and successes with others helps all participants to gain strength on their own personal journeys to stay sober.

Individual counseling sessions are also available in conjunction with our Intensive Outpatient Program. During these meetings, clients get at the root of personal issues, such as the reasons for their addictions, personal issues in their lives, and anything they do not feel comfortable sharing during group therapy sessions. At New Beginnings Recovery Center, our flexible treatment program allows us to schedule a mix of sessions to meet the individual needs of each client we serve.

Advantages Of Choosing Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program

  • Clients get the help they need to treat their addiction and can return home at the end of each day.
  • They can continue to have the support of their family, friends and members of the community during this process.
  • Treatment sessions can be scheduled around work or school hours in many cases, allowing them to continue with their regular routines.
  • Since our IOP is conducted on a flexible day and evening schedule, we can help to ensure our clients’ privacy while they are seeking help for a drug or alcohol addiction.
  • Returning to the “real world” immediately after individual and/or group therapy sessions allows our clients to practice the strategies they have learned immediately, without waiting to be released from an inpatient program. They can then return to the group or individual counselor to discuss their progress and get feedback while still in treatment to receive encouragement and further support.

How Flexible Are Outpatient Rehab Schedules?

If you are like many people who have considered treatment for your drug or alcohol addictions, you may be worried about taking an extended period of time off work. At New Beginnings, we understand many people are not able to complete a residential treatment program. This is why we offer an intensive outpatient treatment program that allows you to continue your daily activities.

Working Around Your Schedule

How Flexible Are Outpatient Rehab SchedulesWe realize you may have a busy schedule so we offer both day and evening sessions for your convenience. The intensive outpatient rehab program will require you to spend at least three hours receiving treatment at our facility, however, you can schedule your treatment time around your work or school schedule.

After the initial treatment, you will continue to come in for routine counseling and therapy sessions. These sessions may also be scheduled at the best time to fit your needs. Our groups meet five days a week in the day as well as the evening. By allowing patients to choose a time that fits their schedule, we find that more patients are able to succeed in addiction recovery.

Individual Treatment Length

In addition to a customized daily treatment schedule, we also create a customized timetable for your treatment. We realize that each addiction and patient is unique. While one patient may recover from their addiction in 30 days, another may need 90 days. The length of time it takes is not as important as the final outcome. Recovering from drug and alcohol addiction is a marathon not a race. The goal is to successfully finish regardless of how long it takes.

Customized Treatment Plans

We base our customized treatment plan on a few individual pieces of information. When you first enroll into our outpatient program you will meet with a member of our staff to discuss pertinent information. This information will include the substances you are addicted to, how long you have been using, and how much you use at one time. By having this information, we can determine the approximate length of time it will take to complete the program. If you have not completely recovered within the estimated timeframe, don’t worry we can change the length of treatment.

With our customized treatment plan, we can help you recover from your drug or alcohol addictions.

Outpatient Drug And Alcohol Treatment: A Comfortable Path To Addiction Recovery

If you have ever considered going to a treatment program for your drug or alcohol addiction but can’t take the time away from your job or family, our outpatient program may be the perfect option. When most people think of an outpatient program they think of AA or NA programs. These programs focus on living sober without always treating the underlying cause for your addictions. This can lead to relapses or years of struggling to stay sober.

A Different Kind Of Personalized Treatment

Outpatient Drug And Alcohol Treatment | Addiction RecoveryWhile an inpatient treatment may not be possible for you, there is no reason to compromise on the quality of care you receive. Our outpatient drug and alcohol treatment is designed to offer you as much or as little help as you need to achieve sobriety. Our goal is to make your detox process comfortable while also treating and underlying mental health issues. You do not need to enroll in an inpatient program to get the personalized care you need.

Convenient And Flexible Outpatient Schedule

We understand you have a family and job to take care of. This is why we offer a flexible schedule for treatments and therapy sessions. You will be able to schedule your appointments around your schedule. This allows you to get the treatment you need without compromising your outside life.

Each patient is different and the level of care you require will determine how much time will be spent with therapists and counselors. Our trained staff is available 24/7 to help you to overcome your addictions. Unlike other outpatient programs, with us you are never alone in your struggles.

Variety Of Addictions Treated

Unlike many outpatient programs that may only treat one type of addiction, we treat a variety of addictions from alcohol to synthetic marijuana and everything in between. We realize that many people become addicted to substances that were either prescribed to them or marketed as safe. Once they realize that they are addicted to these substances, it may seem too late to change. Our goal is to show each patient the care and respect they deserve while ensuring they receive the necessary treatments for their specific addiction.

Don’t put off treating your addictions or substance abuse issues due to your work and family schedules. Our outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs can help you achieve your goal of sobriety without compromising your family and career.

How Our Intensive Outpatient Program Will Help You Successfully Overcome Addiction

Suffering from drug and alcohol addiction is stressful for yourself and your family. If you are unable to spend a lengthy period of time at an inpatient facility, an intensive outpatient treatment may be right for you.

Main Differences Between Inpatient And Outpatient Treatment

How An Intensive Outpatient Program Will Help Overcome AddictionBefore deciding whether you should enroll in an inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation program, it is important to know the difference between the two.

Inpatient treatment relies on an extended stay at the rehabilitation facility where you will undergo intensive therapies under close supervision. This program is best for long-term and/or severe addiction.

Outpatient treatment allows you to detoxify and recover from drugs and alcohol, while still returning to the comforts of your own home and family. You can also typically continue to work while successfully attending an outpatient program.

How Outpatient Treatment Works

Once you have enrolled in our intensive outpatient program, we will design a custom treatment plan to help you through recovery. This plan will include as much or as little help as you need throughout your detoxification and recovery process. Once you have completed the detox stage of your recovery, you will then move through the steps to full recovery.

We offer therapy sessions to fit your busy schedule five days a week. You may choose to attend either a day or an evening session. During these sessions we will look for and work through any underlying mental health issues that may be influencing your addiction. Patients who complete a drug and alcohol outpatient program are more likely to succeed if they receive treatment for mental illnesses such as depression or anxiety.

What Are The Benefits Of An Outpatient Program?

Many patients enjoy our outpatient program offered here at New Beginnings Recovery Center because they are able to maintain their independence while overcoming their substance abuse problems. Each patient has access to medical and psychiatric services just as those enrolled in the inpatient program do. These services make the difference between a successful recovery and a relapse. It is important to take full advantage of all of the services we offer to achieve the greatest outcome possible.

If you are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction but are unable to leave your family or career, an intensive outpatient program may be the perfect fit for you. Don’t suffer with your addictions when we offer the help you need.

Intensive Outpatient Program in Florida: Addiction Treatment Close to Home

One of the emotions that is common to a person in the throes of addiction is a sense of shame. This disease has the potential to damage a person’s self-esteem to the very core, as well as his or her relationships with family and friends. By the time someone gets to the point where he or she is admitted into a treatment program, there is a trail of anger, resentment, mistrust, guilt and shame surrounding the issue.

Addiction Is A Treatable Disease

Intensive Outpatient Program in Florida Addiction Treatment Close to HomeAt New Beginnings Outpatient Program in Florida, we accept that addiction is a disease, and it is treatable. No one would argue that blaming someone who has cancer for having their disease makes sense, but there are families who have difficulty accepting that their loved one is sick and needs help. Removing him or her from the home may underscore the idea that they need to be removed from their family and “put away.”

By choosing to enroll in a drug and alcohol intensive outpatient program instead, a patient can still get a high level of care and return home at the end of the day. He or she can get the support of family and friends throughout the treatment process and practice the strategies learned during therapy right away. Getting addiction treatment close to home is of real benefit to people who need help.

Variety Of Recovery Services Offered To Patients

Each person who enters treatment at the intensive outpatient program in Florida is thoroughly evaluated to determine how the Center can meet his or her needs. Individual and group addiction counseling are offered, along with mental health and psychiatric services, as appropriate. Twelve-step programs are also available to help patients in their recovery.

Group therapy sessions are kept small so that patients can get the benefit of personalized attention. This is a safe environment where participants can share and learn from each other’s experiences. Knowing that there are others who gone through something similar can help those in recovery establish a common bond and make them feel as though they are not alone. They are facing up to what happened in the past and moving forward to a new beginning – with help from people around them who care.

Outpatient Detox Programs – Break Free From Substance Dependency Safely And Privately

When a new patient is admitted into a drug and alcohol treatment program, the first step is to ensure that he or she is clean and sober. If necessary, the client will need to go through detoxification (detox) before the treatment can begin. This is the process where the body gets rid of the toxins in drugs and alcohol.

During this time, comfort measures are provided as required to alleviate physical withdrawal symptoms. Staff members are available to provide support as well, since detoxing from drugs and alcohol can also mean that a client will experience psychological symptoms.

Detox Without A Hospital Stay

Outpatient Detox Programs - Break Free From Substance Dependency Safely And PrivatelyBy choosing an outpatient detox program, a client can complete this necessary step without having to check into a hospital or long-term residential facility. He or she will also have the advantage of the support of family and friends. The process may be less stressful if support is being provided by familiar faces who know the client well.

Outpatient detox is a good choice for clients who have work, school, or family commitments which prevent them from being able to check into a hospital or other facility for a set time to undergo drug and alcohol detox. Since they can’t participate in drug and alcohol abuse treatment programs without this necessary step, completing it on an outpatient basis makes perfect sense.

New Approach To Drug And Alcohol Detox

At New Beginnings Recovery Center (NBRC), the outpatient detox program is a combination of the traditional procedures used in detox medicine and natural alternative treatments. As a result, clients get a softer transition from going from active user to being clean and sober.

Opiate detox programs are one example of the specialized detox options available at NBRC. Along with traditional detox medicine, clients have the option of adding complementary alternative medicine therapies, such as IV Nutrient and Amino Acid Therapy, hypnotherapy, visual imagery, progressive muscle relaxation, and low level laser therapy, to their treatment regimen.

How To Ensure A Safe And Comfortable Detox

When an individual becomes addicted to drugs or alcohol their bodies become dependent to the substance. This is defined as a physical addiction, meaning that when access to the addictive substance is denied, withdrawal symptoms will occur. These symptoms can be extremely serious – even fatal. In order to ensure a safe and healthy transition into sobriety, addicts are encouraged to seek out the aid of a medically monitored outpatient detox facility.

Detox Symptoms And Withdrawal

How To Ensure A Safe And Comfortable Detox | Outpatient Detox

The symptoms associated with detox, specifically opiate detox range from mild irritability to delirium, tremors, convulsions, seizures and even fatality. The more you use, the more intense the withdrawal. Withdrawal symptoms can set in around 12 hours following use, and typically span a period of 3 – 14 days; though it should be noted that every patient is different. At New Beginnings Recovery Center (NBRC) we provided individualized care to each patient.

Detox Monitoring

During outpatient detox, patients are subjected to a series of tests while under close supervision of a licensed physician. This is to ensure both the continued health and comfort of patients throughout the process. Physicians at New Beginnings Recovery Center pay close attention to detox symptoms. If these symptoms are apparent or too severe, physicians may recommend intravenous medication, sedation, electrolytes or fluids and in some cases, anti-psychotic medicines to control hallucinations.

Outpatient Detox

Outpatient detoxification programs differ from other detox programs in that the patients are not required to remain at the facility. Participants are afforded the ability to stay at home with family and maintain employment while overcoming their addictions. Here at NBRC we work around your schedule to create a detox program that fits your individual needs.

Individualized Detox Difference

If you or someone you love is struggling with an addiction to drugs or alcohol, a New Beginnings detox is recommended for a safe and comfortable detox as well as a successful recovery. With a team of seasoned addiction specialists available to address each patient’s individual needs, you can count on New Beginnings Recovery Center to have you on the fast track to recovery in no time. Brand New Natural Detox Option- Restore Neuroreceptor Restoration Program

The brand new Restore Neurotransmitter Restoration Program™ is designed to complement a traditional medical detoxification and replenish what the body lacks after an addiction. This series of IV’s infused with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids allows the body to restore to order many internal systems that go haywire over the course of an addiction.Palm Beach Gardens, Florida– New Beginnings Recovery Center has been a leader in the addiction treatment field in South Florida for over 8 years. They have now launched a new program that promises to change the standard for outpatient detoxification. iStock_000014948108XSmall The Restore Program is based on the knowledge that amino acids are building blocks for proteins and the precursors for neurotransmitter production.   Neurotransmitters are brain chemicals that communicate information throughout our brain and body.  As a result, the brain sends out urgent messages of cravings that can lead to a frustrating cycle of relapse. The IV infusion therapy seeks to correct that deficiency and restore your body to balance. The Restore program is not a “cure” for addiction.  It allows your brain to have a balanced neurochemistry level, while it’s trying to restore order to the body. Balancing out these aspects of your brain chemistry boosts your mood and mental clarity during your journey towards recovery.  This program can jump start your recovery and help give you the best possible starting place for your new dependency free life.
