Restoring the Mind, Body, and Spirit with Individualized Integrative Detox
At NBRC we are concerned about the whole individual, both the “psyche and the soma”. In other words, we believe that a person’s life is comprised not just of their physical being but also their emotional, social, and spiritual selves as well. We understand that the mind and body are one, and as such, must be treated simultaneously if the system is to be restored to balance. Integrating both traditional western medical techniques and alternative treatment modalities which focus on those aspects of one’s life which cannot be measured by diagnostic techniques, such as X-rays or lab tests, we are better able to restore a sense of balance and order to one’s life.
While the use of certain prescribed medication may be used to assist the individual through an acute episode of detoxification or other treatable illnesses, these medications to get address the root cause of the problem. Their purpose is to allow the individual to seek and achieve the answers they need through other, alternative means. These complementary and alternative methods (CAM) are comprised of research driven methodologies which hold great promise for the treatment of addictive disorders.
The complementary and alternative treatment methodologies offered at NBRC are varied and individualized to the patient’s determined needs and desires. They are overseen and directly provided by our medical and nursing staff who have demonstrated competency and proficiency in their respective field of expertise.
